New Tail Blade Grips are now available from Bergen R/C.
The first thing you’ll notice is the black anodizing added to these grips. This will help differentiate the new ones from the old. The other difference is NOT so obvious.
With Malorie's and other pilots input, we have changed the angle of the arm to help the gyro and tail servo do the job of holding the tail. Simple explanation, centrifugal force is pulling the arm, eyelet, and shoulder bolt to a straight out position. The angle we have set is the neutral position for holding the tail still in a hover. So centrifugal force is HELPING to hold the tail still.
New Intrepid Gasser, EB, and Magnum kits will include these new grips as standard. Upgrades or replacements are sold with the radial bearings installed and new plastic links included. Part # is 232A and is $49.95 for the pair.

With these new tail blade grips you should cut the special ball link to these appx dimensions.
For the Magnum style Gearbox on the Intrepid 90 or Gasser.
For the Industrial style Gearbox on the Observer EB or Intrepid Gasser EB.
The purpose here is to have the arms on the New Tail Blade grips to stick straight out WITH the Pitch Slider centered on the shaft.
